The FC5FS and FC10FS Fused Silica versions haave a multielement design that gives a highly collimated, Gaussian beam with low wavefront error.
The adjustable focus feature allows you to optimize the collimator for your lasers wavelength and lock it down. Besides collimation, these fiber collimators can also focus to a very tight spot at a large distance or expand to illuminate an area. Various coatings, either broadband or V-coat can be applied on these collimators on a semi-custom basis.
